Help with Your Email
Account
Quintus has already set up a number of email accounts for family members under Manfred Schulzke. To find out your default password, request an account, or change your account, contact Quintus.
IMPORTANT: If you can avoid it, don’t use this email for signing up to a service, survey, free trial, whatever. Why? Because these “registrations” tend to sell your email address and before you know it you’ll get the same crude email you might have experienced with your hotmail account. While there is a “spam” (junk email) filter in place for these accounts, not everything gets blocked and limiting the distribution of this address to friends and family, and not to businesses, will help avoid garbage email.
To access and manage
your account
Go to the following site using your first name:
http://schulzke.org:2095/<yourname>+schulzke.org/
i.e. For Alesha, you’d go to http://schulzke.org:2095/alesha+schulzke.org/
Changing your
password
On the first page you enter into, you should be able to find a link to change your password. You’ll just need to know your default password, which you can get from Quintus, and then set your new one so you’re the only one who can access your email.
What email reader program
should I use?
Any one you like of the choices. “NeoMail” is my personal preference; it’s easy to set up and has a straight forward user interface.
Forwarding emails
that come to this address to another address:
You may be perfectly happy with your current email account. If you’d like your Schulzke.org email address to forward to another email address, let Quintus know and he’ll be happy to set that up for you.
